SEPTEMBER 4-7, 2025
A Weekend to Reconnect, Replenish, and Reflect
"As the long days of summer soften into something quieter and more golden, we enter Late Summer—a sacred fifth season, rooted in the Earth element. It is a time of slowing down, of harvesting the light we've gathered, and of coming home to ourselves."
Join us for 3 nights and 4 days in nature, just outside Grass Valley, CA.
This retreat is an invitation to pause. To breathe. To nourish your body and spirit through yoga, meditation, nature, and stillness—guided by the wisdom of the season.
In Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, late summer is more than a seasonal shift—it's a sacred pause. A return to center. A time when the energy of the Earth element encourages grounding, digestion, reflection, and nourishment.
This retreat draws on those teachings and offers simple, supportive practices to align with nature's rhythms:
Grounding yoga + breathwork | Nourishing Food | Space for stillness
Morning energizing flows and evening grounding sessions. Each practice is thoughtfully crafted to align with the natural rhythms of the day, helping you find balance between effort and ease.
Fire circles, dance parties, Mala bead workshop, and nature-based rituals to deepen your connection with yourself and others.
Plenty of downtime for naps, hikes, hammocks, or stargazing. Honor your need for rest and reflection in nature's embrace.
3 nights in a modern retreat center with expansive decks and cozy nooks.
Organic, seasonal cuisine made with love. All dietary needs thoughtfully accommodated.
Surrounded by pines, golden hills, and open skies just outside Grass Valley.
Everything you need for transformation is included. Simply arrive with an open heart and let us take care of the rest. From the moment you step onto the property until your final goodbye, every detail has been thoughtfully considered to support your journey.
Like many yoga practitioners, Liana first fell in love with the asana side of yoga. Having never been an “athlete,” she enjoyed surprising herself with what she could do and found there really is power in her body! As she delved deeper into the spiritual practice, Liana discovered the healing effects yoga has on the mind. In 2015, Liana completed her 200 hour teacher training in Portland, Oregon. She believes we are all capable of any pose with practice, and feels privileged to show people what they can do when they give themselves permission. Liana has taught a range of yoga classes including gentle, flow, pre-natal, and mommy and baby, but her favorite is creatively-sequenced, challenging power vinyasa.
Lauren’s teaching style is intuitive, sequence-driven, and deeply heartfelt. Teaching since 2011, she draws from an extensive background that includes over 800 hours of advanced training. Her approach blends the dynamic flow of Jivamukti, the precision of Iyengar, and recent explorations into the metaphor-rich framework of Katonah Yoga. Lauren has led multiple international yoga retreats, fostering inclusive spaces that support personal transformation, community building and deep connections—both on and off the mat. As the lead instructor at YogaSix Sunnyvale, she has successfully run the last two 200-hour Teacher Training programs, inspiring and guiding students toward meaningful growth. She is excited to share her wisdom and connect on this upcoming retreat.
